am an old man- when I look back I realise that I
have: |

Used/
misused and sometimes abused the resources of
Mother Nature and I failed to plant even a single
tree in my life, till date. I inadvertently wasted
million gallons of water whereas I needed much
less for my use. And the fact is that I can not
generate even a single drop of it. |
ο |
Immensely enjoyed the benefits given by the society
without reciprocating in any kind. |

For
that - I feel guilty and full of remorse
– I know that given my limited intelligence,
qualification, resources, strength, time, capabilities,
competency and experience, I am unable to repay
back the heavy debt towards Mother
Nature and Society.
Through this humble effort – with the help
of my friends and moral support from a senior
bureaucrat of highest rectitude - I am trying
to pay at least the part of interest on this debt.

Why not to reveal
the identity? |

I have seen my mentors working
like this. It is also true that I feel this way
from my heart. |

Why no donations? |
It
is general perception that some people have indulged
in personal glorifications and misuse and mis
utilasation of funds in the guise of social service,
therefore we avoided these two points.
Moreover our campaign needs public participation.

What is the Concept? |
Self
restraint is the best bet for better society.
Public may agree that:- |

Around
10 % of people, exercise self restraint irrespective
of the circumstances. Such exemplary behaviour
needs wide publicity, regularly. |
ο |
Around
10 % of people have very little respect for law
and have no concern and compassion for pains and
inconvenience of public. They follow rules only
when there is no choice. They need to be punished
and exposed publicly. |
ο |
Around
80% of the people are basically nice and generally
law abiding. Their behaviour is mostly quid pro
quo (reciprocal). They are nice if you are nice
and rude when they face rudeness. They try to
remain in the mainstream. If convinced for a good
cause some of them can become the torch bearer.
Our efforts will be to convince the people mentioned
at c) to join hands with the people mentioned
at a), not by lip service but by example. For
start we have to initiate through our own example
displayed and communicated through electronic
media and by distribution of printed material.
Our main aim is to create a mass movement
through the chain reaction.

We
shall avoid controversial issues including religious
and political ones.

Issues under process are:-
Pollution, cleanliness, plantation, obesity in children,
Lack of respect for elders, water conservation,
Excessive use of net, mobile and TV by children
Increase in efficiency etc...
Please suggest issues in which public involvement
will make the society better. |
